Vision

To make Maharashtra’s micro, small and medium enterprises the most competitive, formalised and future-ready in India — globally integrated, innovation-driven and sustainable — so that MSMEs across every district power the State’s $1-trillion economy, generate quality livelihoods and anchor Maharashtra in global value chains, in step with Viksit Maharashtra 2047 and Viksit Bharat 2047.

Mission

1. Facilitate MSMEs to formalise and grow through Udyam-linked services and MSME Expert Desks in every District Industries Centre.
2. Build collective competitiveness through cluster development and common facility centres, ZED and LEAN manufacturing, quality and testing infrastructure, and technology upgradation.
3. Expand market and credit access for MSMEs and Handicraft artisans through Brand Maharashtra, export and digital platform support, credit guarantees and timely settlement of delayed payments.
4. Grow inclusively by prioritising women, SC/ST, Differently abled persons, handicraft artisans along with rural and aspirational-district entrepreneurs and industrially less-developed regions of the State.
5. Go green and digital by enabling energy-efficient, circular and digitally empowered MSMEs that contribute to the State’s sustainability commitments.
